Gene Marples
A native of Kentucky, Gene has been with the company for over 28 years and has a thorough knowledge of all facets of the Hardwood lumber business. He specializes in the lumber from the Appalachian region. Gene enjoys golfing, hunting and traveling in his spare time.
Fred Downey, Vice President and Treasurer
Having joined the company in 1971, Fred manages our Ohio office and lumberyard. With over 34 years of experience, Fred has concentrated on supplying lumber to the furniture manufacturers and is extremely knowledgeable of their needs.
Greg Downey, Vice President and Secretary
Since joining the company in 1977, Greg has been active in sales as well as in management. Greg spends his spare time enjoying all the activities that are available in Florida including golfing, boating, hunting and skeet shooting.
Dan Downey, Jr., President
Having been with the company since 1970, Dan is involved with sales as
well as management.
Dan Downey, III
Joined our company in July 2000. Dan proudly represents the fourth generation
of lumbermen from the Downey family. He concentrates on developing new markets and maintaining existing relationships. Dan's various interests include golf, fishing and snowboarding. |
